Olive Branch Hotel No. 5 Originwo Street, Behind Nextime Supermarket, GRA Phase III Port Harcourt. A 20 Room Boutique Hotel with exquisite Hotel Services and facilities.
Job Requirements
i. Degree-level qualification in a hospitality and/or marketing field
ii. Proven work experience (minimum 3 years) as a business development personnel or similar role.
iii. A self-starter who can work independently: displays self-confidence, enthusiasm and strong commitment to customer care
iv. Excellent selling and networking capability
v. Knowledge of local market
vi. Knowledge of hospitality
vii. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
viii. Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
ix. Positive attitude and good communication skills
x. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
xi. Excellent grooming standards
xii. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
xiii. Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
xiv. Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
xv. Attend all company meetings
xvi. Assist with other departments, as necessary

Job Description
i. Prepare and implement a restaurant and bar marketing budget and plan.
ii. Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the restaurant and bar stays ahead in the local market with especially reference to the GRA market.
iii. Develop, implement and monitor creative local marketing channels, including social media
iv. Manage and update restaurant and bar content on the website
v. Plan and handle restaurant and bar individual customer emailing.
vi. Manage an events schedule to maximize yield and ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
vii. Evaluate and implement local restaurant sponsorship activities and related advertising.
viii. Cooperate with other departments in the Hotel to create an exceptional customer experience and ensure that a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained.
ix. Serve as the main point of contact for VIP customers and ensure the restaurant and bar staff is fully briefed on their requirements.
x. Build strong relationships with customers in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
xi. Manage, record and resolve customer complaints in a prompt and professional manner
