PoliticsRe: Asari Dokunbo - Why I Supported Asiwaju Tinubu's Presidential Ambition? by 40Bullets: 5:42am On Mar 06, 2023
Everyone is now talking... Anyways, I saw a motor park tout shouting how he helped Tinubu steal Peter Obi's mandate.
Someone who doesn't even know the meaning of BVAS
PoliticsRe: Obi Not Eligible To Contest 2023 Presidential Election by 40Bullets: 5:38am On Mar 06, 2023
My friend stop being apprehensive. Ignore my comments and concentrate on others if you must read comments.

You are free to comment about the topic. But any other plan u have, open your own thread
PoliticsRe: Opinion: The Political Mistake Of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor by 40Bullets: 5:32am On Mar 06, 2023
Lol...I didn't create the video, did I?I don't hate him but I can't support deceit or wickedness.
Sanwo-olu has ruled four years and we have seen him.
The teachers, transport workers, Okada riders etc all have unsavoury things to say about him.
All sorts of anti-people bills.
When we complained, he ignored it.
He's only responsible to Tinubu and Oluomo.
How can any sensible person with a heart for people support Sanwo-olu.
I don't like leaders who oppress the weak.

Goodlady:
Yes an not there but I ll sensitize without being biased. You can just be against Sanwoolu unjustly. Wetin he do you or others like you that wants to end his govt?
I saw ur post from YouTube o. Dey paint Sanwoolu bad as if he thief your gf. And the content if your post isn't same as the YouTube video. Fear God o!
PoliticsRe: Obi Not Eligible To Contest 2023 Presidential Election by 40Bullets: 5:19am On Mar 06, 2023
I thought anyone can comment?
Or is Nairaland no longer a public forum?

If you want to peddle lies, take it to your WhatsApp groups.

All I'm saying is that we have March 11 ahead and that you leave the law courts to interpret the law.

blackpanda:
Ok why not open your own thread
This thread is about how obi wasn't qualified for the elections
PoliticsRe: Opinion: The Political Mistake Of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor by 40Bullets: 5:13am On Mar 06, 2023
I thought you said you are not voting that day?
Why sound like you control the brain of all Yorubas in Lagos?

March 11 is just 5 days away my sister.
Not everyone shares your sentiment. Some will vote because of the Sharia being planned for Lagos.
Even Pastors have been begging for Sanwo-olu but we no send them.
Goodlady:
He's incompetent. This is now more like Igbo vs Yoruba fight.
Igbos should vote GRV cos he's fit not cos of sentiments.
Sanwoolu or Jandor is far better than him.
So let's say Igbos as usual and some misinformed Yorubas are after Tinubu, they could v settled for Jandor. But cos GRV their adopted Chinedu is now is LP, the allege party of their new hero Obi. They are rooting for GRV even if he ll be a failure.
They should stop fighting anyhow and being a rebellious set. At the end of the day, Igbos in Lagos ll lose, GRV ll lose and this era now opened the eyes of Yorubas especially Lagos State govt to decimate Igbos access that was given out of good will.
Igbos don't learn from mistakes but cry foul at all times.
By Monday, you ll be here screaming rigging but what has happened is Sanwoolu ll get high votes among his kinsmen, Hausas and other tribes that knows Igbos for their unnecessary wailing, vendetta and campaign of hate.
PoliticsRe: Obi Not Eligible To Contest 2023 Presidential Election by 40Bullets: 5:07am On Mar 06, 2023
Are you the Judge?
Meanwhile, OBIdients have a more pressing issue on Saturday.

blackpanda:
But he's right
Obi wasn't qualified to stand that election
PoliticsRe: Obi Not Eligible To Contest 2023 Presidential Election by 40Bullets: 4:51am On Mar 06, 2023
I don't know why I started laughing on sighting "according to section..."

This simply shows The APC is scared of the deluge of evidence that would strip them of the stolen mandate.

If anyone needs to be disqualified it should be an ex convict and the one without a verifiable certificate
PoliticsRe: Oyo Lp Collapse Structure To Support Gov Seyi Makminde Gsm Of Pdp by 40Bullets: 3:51am On Mar 06, 2023
Unfortunately, LP is not exactly the same as OBIdients.
It's left for OBIdients in Oyo to know what to do to GSM.

As for Lagos, All OBIdients know what to do.
PoliticsRe: goverment should Shut Down Nairaland, it Is Creating Crisis by 40Bullets: 3:47am On Mar 06, 2023
Maybe Twitter, WhatsApp and YouTube too.

So APC too is dreaming of winning?
He,Obaseki, is only begging OBIdients who have decided to vote LP top to bottom.
PoliticsRe: Four (4) Things Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Can Do To Get Nigeria Back On Track by 40Bullets: 8:22pm On Mar 05, 2023
Though I didn't read it,
I know he lacks legitimacy.
Anyone who steals a mandate cannot serve the people with it.

That said,
Tinubu should keep his explanations to himself because when Nigerians wanted him to grant interviews, he was evading us.

kolafolabi:
The challenges facing Nigeria, the Africa's largest economy continue to grow: Oil revenues are down, currency value has slipped and Boko Haram, killer herdsmen and Bandits have murdered more than fifty Thousand people. I expect the president elect reform agenda to show tangible results. Given these imperatives, here are four things Bola Ahmed Tinubu can do to get the ball rolling:

1. Trim down the parastatals.

Tinubu has an opportunity to realize immediate savings by eliminating or merging some of Nigeria’s more than 500 federal parastatals and boards. Parastatals are government-operated companies or commercial agencies. Pundits allege that past presidents used parastatal appointments to cultivate national political allies and provincial cronies. These institutions, which range from the lucrative to the modest to the moribund, have long been a cornerstone of corruption in Nigeria

2. Tame the white elephants.

Tinubu’s apparent determination is to revive the two “white elephant” economic sectors;
1. Domestic Oil Refineries
2. Steel Mills.

Nigeria is replete with these kinds of investment projects where state-owned enterprises are funded for long periods even if they incur huge losses. For decades, Nigerian leaders have thrown good money after bad at these projects because, as scholars argue, white elephant projects yield short-term political gains.

Tinubu, like any of the rest of us, could stumble into a sunk cost dilemma where his efforts to maximize future returns of Nigeria’s white elephants only increase their cumulative losses. Instead, he should address the graft, inconsistent policies and opaque privatization deals that experts say turned these industries into white elephants in the first place.

3. Control the National and Subnational Debts.

The balance sheets of the country’s 36 states are sinking deeper into the red. In a decentralized federal system like Nigeria’s, state budgets typically affect the lives of ordinary citizens more than federal spending does. States’ borrowing trends are risky and need to be addressed, according to a recent report by the African Development Bank.

All but a few states generate minimal revenue outside of their monthly allocation of Nigeria’s anemic oil income. While Nigeria’s national debt is still relatively low by global standards, fiscal federalism means that if states default on their debts, the federal government foots the bill.

4. Legislate for the long run.

Nigeria will need to feel the “Tinubu Effect” The best way for him to protect his legacy is to partner with the National Assembly to enact legislation enshrining key reforms. With few other politicians like him on the horizon, Tinubu should put his legacy in writing.

Thank you.

Lol..I hope you have more than one PVC?
MikoB:
Sanwo olu will win lagos easily, not because he performed excellently well but because of this guy call Rhode vivour past endeavours with ipob and the rest..
PoliticsRe: Chinedu Gbadebo Is A Known Ipob Member by 40Bullets: 8:10pm On Mar 05, 2023
Lol..and you think this is a secret?
I only asked where he was when Tinubu was beaten black and blue in Lagos where he has his business concerns.
So it's too difficult to also influence Lagos whilst also helping Ganduje in Kano who still lost to kwakwanso?

Oga stop deceiving yourself.
If you like make Dangote Lagos REC, he'd still sweat to save Sanwo-olu this coming Saturday.

flokii:
Let me reveal one secret to you.. these businessmen stake their heads for political aspirants especially presidential candidates to protect their own interests when they assume office.. that's top secret I gave you for free.

You asked where Dangote was on Feb 25?.. dude was probably focused on how Asiwaju would get votes in the core North.

Lagos houses one of his biggest investments i.e. Dangote refinery and there is a lot at stake with who governs Lagos. Imagine an anti-progress Ipob apologist becoming governor in same Lagos, bad business for people like Dangote I tell you.
PoliticsRe: Chinedu Gbadebo Is A Known Ipob Member by 40Bullets: 8:01pm On Mar 05, 2023
Lol...so he is not a Rhode Vivour too?

Rotimi Amaechi must be from Ile Ife too.
And Pastor Enoch Adeboye must be from Israel abi?
Epistasis:
His real name is Chinedu not Gbadebo....he is a full blown Ibo man!!!
PoliticsRe: Chinedu Gbadebo Is A Known Ipob Member by 40Bullets: 7:58pm On Mar 05, 2023
Where was Dangote last Saturday?
I have told you to go and campaign.
Obidients are not those you gaslight online or offline
flokii:
The real sons and true friends of Lagos like Dangote will deliver the seat to Sanwo Olu.. so chilax my friend.

You don't expect people like Dangote to sit down and watch a neophyte take over Lagos to ruin the peace and enabling environment he has been enjoying.

Victory is certain for Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu.. you can take that to the bank.
EducationWhy Sanwo-olu Is Worried And Tweeting Every 10minutes Now by 40Bullets(op): 7:55pm On Mar 05, 2023
Sanwo-olu knows there's fire on the mountain even with his army of thugs.
He knows he is not Tinubu who even with the Arewa votes for Shettima couldn't get 156,000 votes.
The Arewa community will not be as committed as they were last Saturday. This will further deplete the votes.
Civil servants are secretly praying for a new government. Sanwo-olu isn't too sure they'd vote him.
The ibos are not caving in to threats as the safest thing is to vote who will not be hostile to them.
There are other ethnic groups from Edo, Delta, Northern Christians, ijaw etc who don't live in clusters like ibos.
Most of those who believe Tinubu shouldn't continue to strangulate Lagos won't vote APC.
Not much people are talking about PDP as the Atiku effect/cash is out of the way.

The March 11 election is essentially between LP and APC.

OBIdients are up for the challenge.
PoliticsRe: Chinedu Gbadebo Is A Known Ipob Member by 40Bullets: 7:39pm On Mar 05, 2023
Lol...are you sure?
Even Sanwo-olu is begging and going to redemption camp,You are here consoling yourself.

OBIdients are not LP members and not all ibos. So even if you kill all the ibos before March 11, Sanwo-olu can't beat GRV.

Let me remind you that even Tinubu with Arewa votes couldn't muster 160,000 votes last Saturday.
Imagine what'll happen to Sanwo-olu.

You better go out and campaign
flokii:
@OP Don't stress yourself, the guy won't win.
Let him ask Jimi Agbaje how far.. even the photographer guy in PDP will pull more votes than him.
PoliticsRe: Chinedu Gbadebo Is A Known Ipob Member by 40Bullets: 7:33pm On Mar 05, 2023
Which Lord are you comparing ibos with?
This your hate for Gbadebo will soon make you say things you need not say.

You guys are playing into Gbadebo's hands.
With this level of hate against Ibos why should any IBO vote Sanwo-olu?

You are just creating an army of enemies for Sanwo-olu.
Epistasis:
Fear the Lord, fear Ibos more. God is merciful, Ibos are merciless!!!
PoliticsRe: Opinion: The Political Mistake Of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor by 40Bullets: 7:26pm On Mar 05, 2023

APC played into his hands.

But seriously I love competent people who are humble.
Goodlady:
Shey discount dey for buying land among easterners or any tribe ni?

Gbadebo is playing victim and seeking Igbo voted to just enter. He's desperate.

EducationObidients.. Please Do Not Pity Sanwo-olu by 40Bullets(op):
A lot of pleas on behalf of Sanwo-olu is making the rounds. Please don't act like Saul who spared King Agag and the fattened rams.

Prophet Samuel was so disappointed in Saul that he said:
Now would God have extended your reign but that won't happen anymore.
When Saul wanted to defend himself thinking God will be pleased by sacrifice;
Samuel reminded him "Obedience is better than Sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams"

Please, don't allow any pastor sway you.
We don't hate Sanwo-olu but he can't be trusted.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Gubernatorial Election: Sanwo-olu, Gbadebo, Jandor, Who Is Qualified? by 40Bullets: 2:31pm On Mar 05, 2023
GRV is the best but OBIdients don't even have time for this kind of question.

All they know is thumbprint LP anywhere they see it on March 11.

That's the only way to send a strong message to INEC and APC
PoliticsRe: Obedients Currently Passing Through The Stages Of Grief by 40Bullets: 2:25pm On Mar 05, 2023
March 11 is the day to know.
OBIdients are very deliberate.
Ousting Sanwo-olu and sitting Governors is their focus.

Local plans to defend themselves since they know the Police can't be trusted.

I love the spirit.
No Obidient even sees Tinubu as President so it's not an issue.
