In a live chat on facebook last night, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede told the N-Power hopefuls that the list of the 2017 applicants is not yet out as expected but that the selection of candidates will be done using the computer programming system known as "random algorithm". The statement went viral as people thought the use of random algorithm is to make the selection process very fast and to reduce the stress of selecting few names from a list of millions. One of the commenters, sunday melody, a computer programmer said, there is no basis for the delay in the shortlisting of candidates since the random algorithm program can select 300,000 names even from a list of 5 millions names within hours, unless if the selection process is no longer transparent

That's a technical terminology for man know man selection
