I cringe when I hear a supposedly literate say Niger Delta oil money is feeding the whole Country.
It is very far from the reality.

If you say the Senate, Rep, Executives and parastatals.. Obviously.

Not that Nigeria Politicians cant make more money from other sectors and way but oil money is by far easier.

They don't have to do anything.. Go to Kogi, Benue.. You see Governor not paying salaries for 3 years... because they don't need worker services as long easy oil money is droping in their lap monthly..

According to Atiku SouthEast was rebuilt by individuals after the war not oil money.. Oil money don't rebuild.

This oil money does not feed The common man.

IF YOU REFUSE TO WORK, WORK HARDER HUNGER WOULD FINISH YOU.

Go to the North and see hunger, you would not ever say oil money is feeding the country..

Look around how has the so called oil money help Nigeria...

We are still under developed, poor, hungry...
We are still below 3rd world Country.

The common man is battling recession, now economy depression.. All most all infrastructure are been built are on debt..

Our debt profile is so high to a point of hopelessness...

You this it is corruption... No it not..

If it is Corruption then 99% of Nigeria are corrupt without being aware...

Because we all in our SILLENT heart depend on "Niger Delta " oil money...

Money we did not work for or earn... that is the genesis of our poverty, that is what corruption actually means

Money that we would always hear about, lust over... in tune of 25 billion dollars... 2.8 billion dollars.. yet we don't have up-to 200 naira in our pockets..

It is an illusion, it is not real..

Only people that money is useful to are politicians and people that work for them directly or indirectly...

Africa must rise above blind greed and realise just like money won in lotto... it is easy come, easy go. Just like the ancient proverb of learning how to fish instead of expecting free fish.

Over history... look around the richest and developed areas are not those That depend on free money... it is community that work day and night.

Like I said 26billion not my money... Never would be...

The day as Nigerians all of us collectively makes 26 billion for our nation through patriotism and hard work ... No fool would dare touch it without due process.
