Shakira and her Barcelona footballer boyfriend, Gerard Pique, have reportedly split after six years together as Cotilleo sources claim Colombian music star Shakira spearheaded the split.

Sources claim that 40-year-old Shakira, who was last seen with the 30-year-old footballer in June at the wedding of Gerard’s former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi to his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo, ‘could no longer cope with the situation.’
