Front-end : UI/UX Developer
WaterPrints Ltd based in Lagos Nigeria is seeking a talented UI/UX Developer to join our rapidly growing team. We are looking for a unique candidate with a passion for UI development and experience coding user interfaces for complex enterprise-level software applications. The candidate will be responsible for but not limited to conceptualizing and designing internal and client facing web applications, mobile applications, and landing pages. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior U.I. skills and be able to translate high-level wireframe concepts, and interaction flows into beautiful, intuitive, meaningful user interfaces, and functional applications.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for day-to-day projects including developing and maintaining wireframes, visual design mockups, and specifications
2. Assist subject matter experts and development team to ensure visual design and interaction enhances the overall user experience
3. Work hands-on, creating interface, brand and visual design solutions from concept to completion
4. Perform rapid prototyping to validate the business and customer goals, usability, and feasibility of a new idea in collaboration with the development team
5. Convert prototype wireframe into elegant visual design mockup
6. Champion user-centered design approaches and principles

Work Experience / Knowledge:
1. Experience designing and developing user interfaces for public facing large websites
2. Experience in mobile application design and development
3. Proficient with user interface design patterns, user-centered design process, responsive design, visual design, page layout, and color theories
4. Knowledge of Google material design theory
5. Understanding of web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, ES6, AngularJS, and Front-End Frameworks e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation
6. Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative design tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks InDesign and prototyping tools: Axure, Sketch, etc.
7. Ability to analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts to make effective business decisions
8. Uses hands-on design and design thinking activities to understand vision, business model and assumptions and tacit knowledge about user needs and behaviors
9. Ability to translate abstract problems into a roadmap for identifying solutions
10. Takes initiative to learn new tools and techniques and integrates new methods to drive improved outcomes
11. Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision, independently and within a team setting
12. Animation and motion graphic experience is a plus
13. Acts and decides appropriately when all available information may not be possible to obtain
14. Open to constructive design criticism and agile methodology
15. A background working with .NET applications and teams

Physical Work Demands:
1. Must deal effectively with stressful situations, critical deadlines, and a customer base with high service level expectations.

Qualifications / Certifications:
• Degree or certificate in Interactive Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design or related fields is a plus.

• A good knowledge of html and css is essential, some knowledge of popular javascript frameworks like jQuery and Angular is desirable.

Job Title:  Senior Software Developer

Job Responsibilities

1.      Practical knowledge of end to end solution with MTNN, requirements gathering and analysis, application solution design, development and testing. Knowledge of UAT Support, Go-live preparation – release information and cutover activities, Go-live support and monitoring, Post go-live trouble shooting and bug fixing.

2.      Provisional consultancy – Operation support to the QA and test team / solution delivery regarding ongoing projects, service enhancements for the operations team including additional automated error handling, new bulk provisioning solutions, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

1.      BSc/MSc degree in computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field with working in an identity management company.

2.      Proven software development experience in UNIX (environment, running applications, scripting), oracle – PL, SQL scripting.

3.      Knowledge of TCL scripting language used in Tertio and DSA projects.

4.      Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, MML.
