NNPC SCANDAL: Kachikwu, Baru Should Step Aside, Says Senate C’ttee Chair by flemzyjoe(m): 11:09am On Oct 09, 2017
Both the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, and the Group Managing Director, Nigerian have to be suspended, so as not to hinder investigation into the $250 billion contract scandal currently rocking the oil sector.

This was stated by the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) chairman, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, who said that President Muhammadu Buhari should without further delay suspend the Petroleum Minister and the NNPC GMD.

Kachikwu had leveled allegations of insubordination and awards of contract of about $250 billion without due process against Baru in a leaked memo sent to Buhari which has continued to dominate national discourse with many citizens of the country calling for the suspension of Baru and probe of NNPC.

Making his contribution on the matter, Alasoadura, who spoke durin a live programme on Channels Television entitled, Sunday Politics, argued that not only Baru, but both officials should be suspended.

What of the dullard who is their boss
The man who made himself petroleum minister...
He should be the first to give way
Under his watch billions of dollars were misappropriated
Who says buhari wasn't in the know

Buhari is a terror
A glorified thief
A gagantum calamitous homo erectus
No nation progresses under such vermin

kachikwu will gladly step down from this nepotistic government, same cannot be said of the born to rule cabalistic baru who was deliberately planted there by the dullard to loot the nnpc through shady deals and financial manipulations.

If the Minister of State who 'blew the whistle' and reported d insubordination of the GMD is to be suspended then the one who supposedly gave approvals over and above the NNPC board or me the substantive minister, Mr Bubu, should also be suspended for said investigation.

It is clear that efforts will be made to blindside and punish Kachikwu for daring to expose the cabal otherwise why should anyone recommend that he step aside? When the infamous dollars were found at Ikoyi, was the NSA whom the NIA DG reports directly to suspended? Was he not in fact, a member of the panel set up whose report had been confined to some dark hole?
