5 Practices For Making A Difference In Life by madumelu(m): 10:18pm On Oct 09, 2017
Making a difference in life requires a day-to-day follow-up practices and attitude one have to cultivate to make it happen.

Following below I carefully pen down the most effective of all you might think you know of these practices.

Think different
The first and likewise the most important of this practices is the attitude of a different thought – yes, you must think different, see different, work different, and act different from what all others think, see, work, and perform  respectively.

Perhaps, every success and likewise failure is first propelled from the mind – being the place of thought.

Therefore, you must learn how to think and what to think. Even the bible tells us, “as a man thinks; so it is”. That’s to tell us how far the mind can take one – either good or bad, success or failure.

People who really what to make a difference in life are always optimistic in their thoughts. They think and see positivity even when they see no room by analyzing their present situation to making a difference.

Think… think and think different. Don’t be move by what you see and available resources. Learn from God’s word, ‘for we work by faith, not by sight’. Think different and make good to be one.

Perhaps, I came to understand that people who think different, act different and always end up with different results (better indeed when compared to others).

Have this; you can’t feature into what you can’t vision.

Set your goals –
This should be your first approach to making a difference in life – setting goals. It’s due to the fact that anyone who must think of achievement must have goals.

With goals set before you; you can think of a plan and with a nice plan; you have something to propel you till success is attained.

Perhaps, you have to pen down your goals and redefine what you have. Check if it is agitated by passion or you are just moved by what people have done through same likewise goals or how prestigious or lucrative many have analyzed  it.

Make sure your goals are driven by passion, faith, determination and God’s purpose for your life. Having examined all this, then put all hands on desk and fire on.

Give your goals the best of you
You see, there’s one phenomenon I came to understand about life; you get likely a measure of what you give. That we can say in the other way, the size of one’s effort has great effect in determining the content of result one get either of good, better or best as well as in the other opposite way; bad, worse or worst.

Give, give and give your best – your best of study, your best time, your best knowledge, your best understanding and your best effort to your calling.

Input determines output. A student who desires the best grade must make out his best time to studying, learning and making researches on various books and knowledgeable materials that will help his academics. You might say but i have hope. Yes, it’s wonderful but hope gives courage to persevere not a difference. Remember the bible warns us, “Faith without work is dead”.

The bible also emphasized,”give and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For the same measure  …” – Luke 6:38

Also, it’s only when you give your goal the best of you that you get focused to make a difference. Nevertheless, invest your best; if you must reap out the best.

Make reasonable friends
Do you know that 70% of what one become in life is determinant on the kinds of friends one mingles with?  Don’t be shocked; for that’s the reality.

Mind the friends you keep. Nevertheless, friends takes up to 80% of...
