Looking critically at the situation happening around the world, one could suspect a new world order unfolding. This new world order is tilting towards survival of the fittest. In the new world order, world population is set to be reduced. The superior race, tribe or region will take over the land and resources of the weak. The world is already being overpopulated. To maintain parity between limited resources and human population, genocide appears unavoidable.
Coming to Nigeria which is the subject of this argument, effect of climate change and desertification is already affecting the 'stronger tribe'. Whether u like it or not, the Northern Nigeria is mentally stronger than the South. A strong link has been established between the bokoharam menace and desertification arising from climate change. Some have even argued that main supply of fighters to Bokoharam are the sahel region battling with dissertification. If this argument is correct (which seems plausible), the menace boils down to ecological resource conflict and survival of the fittest.
The most successful wars are fought during the peace time. Could the 'Fulani herdsmen' or better put, trained Fulani militiamen be on a conquest mission? Could the avengers or Ipob agitations masterminded be a decoy to militarise the south in view of the impeding new world order of conquest? Why is Dangote expanding investment in the South (particularly the largest oil refinery) when the source of crude supply is under threat? Could it be militarisation of the area to ensure free flow of crude? All these may just be a figment of my imagination but why is herdsmen conflicts shifting towards the South (middle belt, South West, South south and South East)? This is a food for thought. What do u think?
