HajimeSaito:

It might actually have implications for Nigerian car users. Toyota sources the raw materials used for manufacturing its cars from Kobe.
And Toyota is the number one choice for Nigerian car owners.
good point but
My brother let's be honest with ourselves. In Nigeria 97% of vehicles driven on nigerian roads are NOT covered by manufacturers warranty.
In most cases the manufacturers have no idea that these vehicles are still being driven (the spare parts are made under licence from the OEM by third party manufacturers another source of spares are my brothers and ladipo n itire via cannibalisation/stripping of junk vehicle's)
So to speak honest talk we aren't even being factored into the equation .
Except you want to tell baba dele t ditch that the "big daddy " or was it "big for nothing " he bought last easter, otherwise we're busy driving scrap!

(and honestly you might not like his reply)

Kobe is a city in Japan
It's also the name of a massive steel manufacturer called kobe steel which was founded in the city.
To break it down KS has been cheating in it's manufacturing processes, this is place issue because the steel will not meetup to stress conditions and may fail under critical situations.
Why people are shouting plenty is that KS is supplier to so many manufacturers such as Toyota and Honda , you don't happen to have one do you? Cos if you you gonna need serious prayer points against failure from kobe steel

Corruption reach every nook and cranny for this planet
Have you forgotten anywhere there are humans, there will always be corruption, cheating, lying, trying to game the system etc.

The difference between the magnitude of corruption is dependent on the systems and institutions on ground to checkmate it and where there is actually a case of corruption, the adequate punishment that will be dished out on the criminals nothwitstanding their standing in the society .

What makes Nigeria's own worst is the absence of a system that punishes offenders irrespective of their standing in the society.

Bad. Too bad. If automobiles fail tens could die...if aeroplanes fail hundreds could die.... if civil engineering works fail thousands will be at risk and I sure hope they were not involved in anything nuclear or biochemical.... that will be armageddon loading.

Exactly my point!
