So Customs want to start raiding car stands? Soon they’ll start stop-and-search of already registered vehicles and ask for custom papers.

Continue seizing the properties of Igbos all over the country. One day, you will be wrapped in a white shroud and placed in a wooden stretcher and we will see whether you will impound any other vehicle again.
so you've agreed ibos are smugglers and criminals?

This is the best question after reading this post.

To the NCS: Who imported this new vehicles without paying duties?
Has the importer been arraigned before a court for prosecution? hence the reference of "For the avoidance of doubt, what we are doing is in-line with the provisions of Sections 147 of Customs and Excise Management Act (CEMA) Cap 45, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 (power to search premises), Section 158 of CEMA, Cap 45 Laws of Federation of Nigeria (power to patrol freely).

It must also be understood that being in possession of smuggled items is an offence under Section 3 of Customs and Excise (special penal and other provision) Act Cap 47 Laws of Federation of Nigeria 2004."

Nonsensical. I cannot imagine what could have happen If every Nigerian should be claiming what is right as well. To me they've not commit any offense or is arm robbery, rituals, kidnapping and all sort are prefferable to this Illegal? Nigeria herself is not LEGAL.
Leave these people for God sake

So the fact that someone who is Igbo and does legitimate business of owning a car dealership in Abuja but because of the "war" against the Igbos (both economically and otherwise), the cars are being confiscated now means that they are criminals?

your brain is there for a reason. use it.

1.) the post never mentioned whether the owner of the vehicles is IBO

2.) the owner smuggled the vehicle in by avoiding custom duty on the new vehicles. that a a criminal activity

3.) from #2 above. if he's ibo like you foolishly assumed are criminals arrested only when they are IBO? saraki's luxury bullet proof vehicles were confiscated. that's a senate president o; he must be a potor man too!!!

4.) if you still really want to stand by your initial foolish assumption that he's IBO that means you agree with my point that there is a significant relationship between being ibo and being a criminal/smuggler ( we've seen many potor drugs mules being arrested).

conclusion; it's either you are foolish for blindly jumping into conclusion that the owner of the smuggled vehicles is IBO or a very high percentage of smuggling activities (>75%) are carried out by IBO criminal elements.

whichever way I'm right!!! ibos are criminals and you should start using your brain
