Maybe he would have been alive today sending shoutouts through Snap to Davido praising him for saving his life and the whole Social media would erupt praising David's human face.... today reverse is the story due to the clumsy handling by his boys... The autopsy says "suffocation" not "intoxication from alcohol".. Forensic pathology will never lie.. All we want to know is suffocation as a result of what??

I don't get this at all. Mr Tagbo (May his soul RIP) drank himself to stupor as an adult. They probably took him to the hospital because he was very drunk and also not responding.

Is the fact that Davido instructed his folks to take him to the hospital a bad thing, Davido and others must have seen that Tagbo is in a very bad condition. Maybe the guys that went to drop him got there and saw that Tagbo wasn't responding and they panicked, that's where an issue is.

They shouldn't have abandoned an incapable and intoxicated person, that was carelessness in their part. I can't even see a charge of manslaughter here at the same time.

For your education, autopsies do it disclose secondary cause of death they only disclose primary/immediate cause of death which in this case was suffocation.

Why led to the suffocation can now be wondered or investigated.

That is the question for those whose image were caught by the hospital camera.

The same police would have detained them for bringing in a dead man.

This is what we all know in Nigeria, which is reason why no one would volunteer to help anyone.

I have been privileged to have a discussion with someone who probably passed out either drinking or taking drugs with friends. When he finally came back to the land of the living after hours of resuscitation by friends, he was told point blank that they were already debating how to dispose his dead body.

This is because everybody knows the police is an illiterate force who would not even firstly establish the cause of death to be natural or inflicted, before making arrest.

People die, it is a fact of nature. Investigate it to be unnatural before making arrests, not the illiterate police of Nigeria. They will arrest first, then you will spend your own money to carry out autopsy and other investigations the state and prosecution and police ought to have done, just so you can prove your innocence to the police.

Begging the question, was the death investigated to be suspicious before arresting suspects?
