There are four main reasons why the Kogi state
Governor ,Yahaya Bello is facing tough opposition
from many interest groups in the state, extensive
review and investigations have revealed.
The 21 months old government under the youngest
man ever to be the governor of a state in Nigeria is
battling many challenges for many reasons ,the
overall one being his daring to attempt what no
past administration except Abubakar Audu had
attempted in the state.
First was his taken on the ghost workers’ cabal
through rigorous staff audit ,a policy that has
reduced payroll cost through the discovery of
28 ,000 ghost workers. Over 700 million was
reportedly saved from the exercise.
The cabal fought back through multiple attacks
over unpaid salaries. The heat was reportedly so
much but the governor and his team dared the
odds ,sanitising the payroll and dismantling the
ghost workers cabal. The cabal is thus yearning for
blood and determined to pull down the young chief
