Oby Ezekwesili defends President Buhari's request for the World Bank to focus on the Northeast

Yesterday, mixed reactions trailed President Buhari's request for the world bank to focus its humanitarian and developmental activities in the Northeast. World Bank president, Jim Yong Kim, at a press conference in the US on Thursday disclosed that at their first meeting, President Buhari made a requested that the world bank should focus on the Northeast. Mixed reactions trailed this revelation with some people accusing President Buhari of tribalism, segregation and nepotism.

In a series of tweets, former Education minister and Former Vice President of the World Bank, Oby Ezekwesili tried to explain why President Buhari's request was not out of order.
