Let's get something clear first; setbacks, defeats and humiliation does not mean one is not courageous. Most countries of the world have suffered defeats, humiliation and setbacks in their bid to be freemen. America suffered a devastating humiliation in the Hand of the British, they later fought the British and won after suffering terrible devastation of their land and loss of many in battle... Germany suffered a great humiliation in the hands of the Alliance forces and lost two wars to them(WW1 & WW2). Isreal were humiliated and millions killed in the holocaust camp by the Germans. Canada fought with America and lost in some front while America lost in some front. Many still consider that war a Victory for Canada while others consider it a draw. Almighty USSR lost the cold war to America which led to their disintegration. Today all these countries are world powers, but they lost wars, they have been humiliated and defeated, but one common factor was that they were courageous.

The South East houses the brave because of the following reasons

1) [/b]They fought a war against all odds[b]: it takes an extremely courageous person to stand up for what is right and to go the extra mile to defend it. Let's get something clear, the eastern region never declared a war, they only declared to stand alone. It was Nigeria that fought Biafra! Against all odds, they sustained the war for nearly four years even when all the foreign powers sided Nigeria except Isreal that sided Biafra, but Isreal was very distracted because they themselves where fighting two wars during that time.

2) [/b]True Patriot love[b]: When Biafran songs and flags are sang and lifted, people are moved to tears. People have given their lives for the course because they want to be free men. And thus be it ever, when the freemen shall stand between their loved homes and the war's desolation Blest with Victory and peace and the Heav'n rescued land.

3) [/b]They take decisions and stand by it[b]: The south east are filled with men who have learnt to take tough decisions and abide by it. That is the reason the Land is filled with lots of business men and women. Decisions that are ground breaking. Decisions that open new frontiers previously unknown.

4) [/b]They have an autonomous spirit[b]: After the Biafran war the south east was punished by confiscating their millions and giving everybody 5 pounds. But they did not let their heads fall... They have since risen above the 5 pounds and have become the controlling influence of the nation's economy. What a people!

5) [/b]They stand by who stands by them[b]: The last administration of Good luck Jonathan didn't do much for the south east but gave them common things that the Nigerian successive governments refused to give them. Things as common as the Chief of Army staff, a sense of belonging to the nation. Despite Jonathan didn't do much for them, but they stood by him through thick and thin. The south east stands by their friends no matter what.

The south east believes they will achieve Biafra and like most successful, brave and courageous people they have not let their heads drop by setbacks, humiliations by the Nigerian state and army. For them: As long as in the heart within, an Igbo soul still yearns, and onward, towards the end of the east and eye still gazes toward Biafra blight. Our hope is not lost, the 50 years old hope to be a free nation in our land. The land of Igboland and Biafra.

The East is a region where a military dictator was defeated by a bloody civilian. The civilian made him to run in the middle of the night, dressed like a sexy sweet 16 to Abidjan and left his comrade to face the heat after suyanizing his zombies followers.

East is filled with brave men, there is no doubt about that. what we will,however, do is to use our power and courage to save Africa and uphold the dignity of man

Someone please tell these guys to forget Biafra, at least for now.
