The co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) advocacy group, Aisha Yesufu, says some “corrupt officials” are untouchable in the on-going anti-graft war despite the enormous powers the Buhari government wields.

Yesufu made the claim via her Twitter handle as she continued to weigh in on the current controversy rocking the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

She wrote: “There is a need to work on the mentality that think winning an election is an achievement. No my child, it’s a RESPONSIBILITY!

“For President Muhammadu Buhari so loved the North East he asked World Bank to focus on the North yet did nothing to Babachir that stole from the most vulnerable of the North East

“Some Nigerians are untouchables. It seems.

“He (Buhari) doesn’t need power. He has too much right now. Babachir isn’t being investigated by @officialEFCC. Institutions should be empowered.

“A country where the corruption fighting bodies have cases they can or cannot work on is not a country ready to fight corruption.”

Apt and timely,saying it as it is!
....Nigeria is more like George Orwell's 'Animal farm',where some animals are more important than others'.
The case of North East and the politics surrounding it is pathetic,money meant for welfare of both soldiers and those in IDP camps are squandered at will,and i ask a simple question,beyond the pretence of love by the presidency for the North East,'how can you believe that a man who killed your father and married your mother,would take good care of you'?
The 'presidents men'(Babachir etc) allegedly steals from the people of North East and the president turns a blind eye but rather shows his much celebrated love for north East by asking the world bank to focus on the North East,i rest my case.
In our local parlance,'Yeye dey smell'.

Continue deceiving yourself. Babachir was found wanting, nothing has been done to him. He was appointed by this same administration.

Fayose even as a governor with his immunity as enshrined by the constitution had his bank account blocked by EFCC, and the same EFCC grew limp when a governor from northern Nigeria used bailout funds to build a 500 million worth hotel. Nothing was done to him, rather they decided to deduct the money from subsequent payments to the state.

Continue deceiving yourself and the zombies that believe you. Buhari has all the power to act but has refused to act because if he does, shit would hit the fan.

Although I expect her to deny this statement and the Twitter account. And of course pass the blame to "HACKERS"

its sad the position this regime has put Nigerians into...


it seems it has become a contest of which thieves to support/castigate...


stealing & corruption in whatever guise & by whomever or whichever government should be condemned by all Nigerian masses.


but when sane people point to the hypocrisy & flawed methodology of PMB's anti-corruption campaign, they are insulted, abused & called lovers of corruption while all sorts of excuses & justifications are provided for PMB's own venerated thieves.
