Lavoca: Don't be fooled by what you read on niaraland, most Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani still worship Buhari. Even if Buhari fails 10 times, they would vote for him 10 times and blame his failure on JONATHAN 1 Like 1 Share |

Yeligray: It continues to baffle me, how our governance work. Watching carefully, it will begin to look like certain things are done to redirect attention. When there are outcry over some misdeeds in the government; they will find one thing to do in order to redirect attention. We were told World Bank was instructed to focus on Northern Nigeria; suddenly our president is signing a document establishing a university in Nigeria. It is a Nigerian (Fed. Gov't) university open to all Nigerians, not a Delta state university. The V.C. & co. Of that university shall be appointed and employed by the federal government through federal character principles or through the usual lopsided approach. |

Would it not have been more adaptive if it became a faculty attached to UNIBEN. Why create a new university with VC, profs etc and all the other attendant huge cost of running a university. When the existing ones are crying due to poor funding. These guys sometimes I wonder how they reason, whether they think nation first or they think self. I recall one former head of state rather than make warri the capital of Delta State made Asaba the capital because his wife is from there thereby throwing the whole state into crisis which is still lingering. Such is the myopic nature of their thought processes. |

Fupre was established during the time of Obasajor, campuses was opened during Yaradua. EngrEngr:He only signed a bill. Which work? FUPRE was established over 10 years ago. Tonnes of graduates have been produced by the school. What is the point rushing to post he signed a bill into law? Was he supposed to revoke it? He simply taking gory for the hardwork of others. All those hailing him probably thought it was a fresh university he established. 2 Likes |
