The lady is very lucky. Has reasons to thank God.
This is one of the disadvantages of driving used cars. The airbags did not deploy meaning the car must have had an accident before. The seat belt must have been replaced or weaken by the impact of a previous accident.
All the same, Good luck babe!

Didnt she die?

She should have died if truly she was in that car?

The village people needs to upgrade their network to 4g or 5g to avoid network failure.

Congrats to her.. she cheated death but for how long?

It is inevitable

Do airbags ever deploy? Not even the labour minister's brand new Lexus jeep could deploy. They just died and I begin to wonder if they ship a lesser quality new products to Nigeria

A young Nigerian lady has taken to twitter to thank God after cheating death following a recent horrific motor accident at Wuse area of Abuja. Twitter user ( @Mishdoo ), shared photos of the car accident which she came out from alive and with only minor injures. According to her, the seat belt she wore cut in half and bruised her neck and even the airbags didn't deploy but all the same she survived.

The young lady who attributed her survival to God wrote; "Do you have any idea how lucky you are?" First of all, God did that.

I'm sorry to be negative at this time but with this kind of accident without safety harness, she would suffer serious chest and neck injuries. The share g forces alone generated from stopping the car in that ditch is enough to snap her neck not to talk of the body roll the car went through.
People just like exergerating things because of likes.

She has forgotten there are people out there that cannot be fooled

See what happens when you buy tokumbo cars on Jiji. Airbag fail, seatbelt fail.

Had an accident with my 2003 Toyota Corolla. 2 airbags were deployed. Probably hers had been deployed previously & the airbags were repacked after the accident. The airbag indicator lights must have indicated the fault.

The topic is misleading. Ghastly accident is if someone expires.
What do you mean by expires?

A ghastly accident is one which does not involve the loss of life but injury[ies]. In contrast to fatal. So it isn't misleading.

It is clear that the problem is not in the jiji, the problem is in the fools. Who does not want to understand anything, and after that accuse everyone and everyone !

Lesson :always wear your seat belt. Airbag can fail. Imagine the impact that could cut the belt, what would have happened without the belt? And those that wear the seat belt only when they sight road safety, kwontinu

Not necessarily!

When it is horrifyingly shocking, it can be described as ghastly.
