These things are written in parables and allegories and are never meant to be taken literally. In the Bible, Graves is a spiritual/mental place of debasement. To enter the grave means to die mentally and spiritually; to go into a mental and spiritual grave.

Negroes are in a mental and spiritual grave as we speak, and only the coming of Jesus can save them, and the world.
