School is fast becoming or should I say it is a very important and inevitable step in a child’s life here in Nigeria and Africa, some even consider school as what will make a child succeed in life and some behaviors and jobs have been stereotyped to people who did not go to school. As a sickle cell warrior, you might miss classes when crises hit meanwhile some warriors lost interest in school due to some reasons like discrimination, constant crises and others. We are aware of what stress can do to someone living with sickle cell yet the stress of going to class, getting assignments done by deadline, standing for hours in the laboratory, pressure from peers, dealing with relationships are few of the many things that has to be faced on daily basis...
