It has become easier for Facebook users to order food directly from their favorite restaurant directly using the Facebook mobile app and websites without navigating away to a delivery service or restaurant's own website or mobile app. It is clearly shown on both the web and mobile view of our facebook called "ORDER FOOD" and also have it delivered to them at their respective destination. Lets this stuck to our mind that Facebook has not created its own answer to seamless.




It is shown on the facebook with a colorful hamburger icon on the desktop view with a blue and white hamburger on the mobile view, In the options menu, Facebook users can place a food pickup and delivery orders from their respective restaurant by using slice or delivery.com It requires few process from ordering a food to the checkout page.


The previous feature on the facebook page that deal with online ordering businesses supported Delivery.com and slice. It was recorded that as at October, Facebook users can now place orders with supported from their own Facebook pages through a START ORDER button.

This great feature ( ORDER FOOD) in the main navigation makes its convenient for users to aggregates all the supported restaurants together on the same page.

One of our Facebook user who uses the service a few weeks ago using the mobile to order a calzone was successful. You can browse via the menu and add, items to your cart, then, edit your order and a suggested tip, then pay within your facebook.

Here, you’ll find a list of restaurants, which include a featured photo, price range (indicated by dollar signs), star ratings, and type of cuisine. It will also display whether delivery, pickup or both are available.

HOW TO ORDER FOOD FROM FACEBOOK DIRECTLY

You head to the new "Order Food" in the area of your Facebook explore section, Then, Locate the local spot you are craving for and hollow your mouse to the :Start Order" after that check if there is a supporting restaurant more than one on the page you will only choose one of them. Once you are done with that Facebook will bring up an in-app browser that directs you to the existing websites for Delivery.com and the likes. then make payment, After payment, It appears before you a confirmation screen to let you know and receive an email instantly to confirm your order and be expecting to arrive for pickup.




We've realized that Facebook has gone extra miles to manage to include such service that will help the massive with the home delivery. i.e you get what you ordered without leaving your room.

However, For, the past several months Facebook has managed to include numbers of great features to the menu e.g Weather, a networking section, called discover people, Travel section i.e City guides Town Hall, an online jobs board fundraiser, instant games and lots more.

But, it's quite Unfortunate, that this great feature is only available to Facebook users in the USA only but, we are expecting to roll out to another region as soon as possible. Also, this feature is yet to be available on the Android app but, the update will be pushed out very soon.
