Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo is getting closer to once again win the FIFA men's player of the year on Monday night in London.



His fellow contenders, Paris St Germian's Neymar and Barcelona's Messi are also hoping to claim the award.

Ever since FIFA award separated itself from the Ballo d'OR Prize, this is the second time the award will be organised and will take place in London Palladium.

Since this year., Ronaldo has scored 44 goals for club and country which he netted twice in the Champions League final in June as he helped Real Madrid win the trophy back-to-back, making it the 12th Champions League title.

His closer contender, Messi has netted 50 goals for club and Country, while Neymar who is hoping the win the award for the first time and the current most expensive player has netted 25 goals for Brazil, Barcelona, and PSG.

The voters will be International and club coaches, media representatives and supporters.
