itel announce latest selfie sensation S32/S32 LTE smartphone with dual selfie camera and fingerprint scanner

In a bid to consolidate on the success of the previous Selfie-focused smartphones, Africa's topmost selling brand, itel Mobile has announced the introduction of her latest selfie-centric devices into the Nigerian market. 

The devices which are codenamed itel S32 and S32 LTE are integrated with the latest camera features that meet tastes of modern users, including a highly sensitive dual front camera with wider angle capability, multi-functional fingerprint scanner, and a big processing unit.

The devices come with an impressive 8MP + 2MP dual selfie camera setup allowing users to switch between 63 degree portrait selfie mode and 120 degree ultra-wide selfie mode. There is a built-in telephoto sensor that blurs out the background giving pictures taken a more professional look. Adorning the back of the S32/S32 LTE is an improved 8.0MP autofocus rear camera with an F/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash that illuminate every picture shot even in poorly lit conditions.

Both devices adopts the full lamination technology and come with a 2.5D curved glass display having a 5.5″ HD IPS Display. The vibrant HD display provides up to 178 º wide viewing angle, offering crystal clear views with vivid colours that ensures good readability in bright sunlight.

Furthermore, the itel S32/S32 LTE are integrated with a multi-functional fingerprint scanner that unlocks your phone in just 0.2 seconds while allowing you to answer calls and take pictures as well. Both handsets have 3000mAh large battery, allowing users to take pictures, chat, and enjoy any adventure without fear of a sudden shutdown.

In terms of Software, the itel S32 and S32 LTE runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box powered by a MediaTek Quad Core Processor which has a speed of 1.3Ghz. On the memory part, the S32 LTE has 2GB RAM and 1GB RAM for the S32. Both have a 16GB internal storage and an external storage slot that allows SD card up to 32GB.

Addressing journalists in Lagos, the Marketing Communications Manager of itel Mobile, Oke Umurhohwo said the new devices are affordable, sleek and of high quality.

"At itel Mobile we understand the demand of our customers, hence, the reason we are introducing the most affordable dual selfie camera phones in Africa. The itel S32/S32 LTE comes with an innovative 8MP+2MP dual front camera that can accommodate more people in a single selfie." 

Speaking further, the Marketing Manager of itel mobile, Marvin Umebiye said the new devices are set to thrill the Nigerian market considering the features they possesses in comparison with their prices. "These devices obviously beat out every competitor in their categories, so we are excited with the release".

Oke Umurhohwo said the devices would come in 3 colours (Light Blue, Calx and Elegant Blue), and the S32 would retail for ₦32,000 naira and ₦38,000 for the LTE version. The devices would be available in the Nigerian market on 12th and 20th November, 2017 respectively across all major partner shops.
