Shipping companies play very important roles in international trade. From berthing with a vessel filled with containers to integral parts that involve clearing agents in Nigeria. Some shipping lines have improved on how they render their services by integrating some form of technology to make the work of clearing agents in Nigeria better.

PIL NIGERIA

PIL came into the Nigerian Market in September 2000 under the agency of Blue funnel, a division of Hull Blyth Nig Ltd. It started with a staff strength of 38 persons, with 17,500 TEU imports and 3,150 TEU exports in its first year to now having over 70 members of staff with 70,000 TEU imports and 9,000 TEU exports per annum presently.
