The Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Ita Oyo, has confirmed that the age long disparity between holders of Bsc & HND has now been abolished by the Federal Government.

Speaking on Radio Nigeria Network public participation programme aired live this morning in Abuja, the HOSF noted that the decision was taken at a meeting of the Council on Establishment (body of state Heads of service, HOS/HOSF) held last week in Minna Niger State.

States HOS have been directed to issue a circular for d implementation of the HND/Bsc dichotomy.
One of the implications of the policy is that both HND & Bsc graduates will have d same entry point (same grade level & steps) & have d same retirement period.
