ISLAMIC STATE CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR ATTACK IN NIGERIA REUTERS CAIRO - The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack in northeast Nigeria that killed eight soldiers and a civilian and injured five other people on Tuesday, a statement by the group said Thursday.
