(Video) Yenagoa Crisis: Kpansia Community slams the Police for shooting an indigene in cold blood

This crisis occurred at Kpansia, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Nigeria between the Kpansia community and the Nigerian Police.

Binafeya.com gathered that a police officer at the early hours of today Friday 27th October shoot dead an indigene of the Kpansia community clamming that the young man attempted to collect his gun.

This caused a lot of panic in Yenagoa town leading to a road block along the Imbiama Yenagoa road, Kpansia axis.

The crisis which caused a massive traffic continued with the presents of several police vans trying to subdue the situation but the community members insisted that the police should bring the police that did the shooting and must be brought to justice.

Binafeya.com also gathered that the police officer that made the shoot was a resident in same compound with the victim and they have both have several confrontations.

The situation continued until the police CP and the Yenagoa Local Government Area Chairman came to the scene to calm things down and the Chairman said in his speech that “It was a sad day for such crisis to occur to the Kpansia community, that he is part of it now that he will make sure proper investigation is done that they should please clear the road to reduce the traffic that he will take things to the higher level of justice”.
