Four persons have been reportedly killed during a clash between two rival cult groups in Benin, the Edo State capital.There have been reported cases of renewed cult wars between members of the and Eiye Confraternity, which had led to the arrest of many suspected cultists by the state police command few weeks ago.
Recently, It was Reported by Police crime investigating department that the result of Mr Onaiwu death who was shot by the Eiye confranternity started on Sunday evening 3, June,2016. after an argument ensued between two persons belonging to different cult groups at a popular bar along Sakponba Road in Benin, the state capital.

One of them, suspected to be a member of the Aye ()confranternity who was Addentity as Nosa Onaiwu,The son of late Onaiwu, he was said to have stab a member of the other cult group (Eiye)during an altercation and he was later rushed to out by his friends and died on their way to hospital. That same night, the Eiye confranternity was said to have attacked and killed three members of an opposition group in different locations within the area out of the annoyance of the death of their members. Mr Onaiwu was among the victims of The revenge of Eiye. It was gather that in the search for Nosa by the , they went to his house and they could not find him. They shot his Dad 3 times on the head because he was the one they saw at home. we also learnt that one of the victims, simply identified as Philip was shot dead at Ezoba in his recording studio along Ekemwan Road.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Osifo Abiodun, confirmed the attack.He, however, said that the command had yet to ascertain the number of casualties from the clash.“We did our intervention by deploying our men in the area; we are on a manhunt for those fingered.“We are very sure that before the end of (July)we will be able to arrest those that have been fingered in the action,” meanwhile, there have been some suspected members of this 2 rival cult in Upper Sakponba that have been decleared wanted by Nigeria Police for Murder case and possesion of illegal weapons. their names are is identity as (Okoro Osaro, Kennedy Etiosa, Nosa Onaiwu, Jerry Osayande, Aigbe Kelly.
