Ted Odogwu, Kano The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi 11, has urged the Kano State government to insure all its vehicles, landed properties and other valuables with Jaiz Takaful Insurance, saying the firm’s activities are Sharia-compliant. While launching Takaful Insurance scheme in Kano on Tuesday, the royal father, however, warned the public to avoid making frivolous claims or losses that never occurred. He also urged Jaiz Takaful to settle all genuine claims presented to it. the monarch urged Kano residents to key into the scheme, emphasising that it would protect their economic interest and insulate them from incurring unprecedented losses due to unforeseen disasters. “If you invest in the programme and did not incur any loss in your business, at the end of the day, profit would be extended to you, based on what you invested in the scheme,’’ he said. According to him, the scheme is in consonance with Islamic injunctions, adding that most of the challenges confronting the economy have already been discussed by Jaiz Takaful Insurance scholars, who possess vast knowledge in Islamic jurisprudence. In his remarks, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jaiz Takaful, Dr Umar Abdulmutalab, outlined the importance of the sheme, saying it was based on the concept of social solidarity, cooperation and mutual indemnification of losses of members. “It is based on Islamic profit sharing of Al-Mudaraban principle. In this regard, clients of a Takaful, known as participants shall be entitled to earn returns on the contributions (premiums) paid in consideration for their participation in Takaful products provided by Jaiz Takaful Insurance.’’ http://punchng.com/embrace-sharia-insurance-scheme-sanusi/ |

Sharia what. We are not embracing anything Islamic. Don't use style to islamise Nigeria. No to islamisation. No to jihadists. No to Book Haram. Do that in your Kano Emirate you hear. |

Good! CAN over to you. They won't come with anything episcopal that can bring development, but are quick to identify every move that defines their imaginary "islamization agenda". Dunderhead! |
