#Chapter 1
Everyone knew Mr Samuel Shaw lived alone, of course they did, it wasn't impossible to know the ins and outs of a man on Shady Hills, it was after all a small town with peace loving folks, however most people minded their business except of course the rumour mills who took great delight in peddling gossips, and one of such gossips was that he was very old and unmarried, another rumour stated that he was a spy from the CIA, but as far as rumours go most of these rumours were false but like most rumours tend to be, there was an element of truth embedded in them.

Samuel Shaw was indeed a 50 year bachelor who had never been married and did not plan on doing that anytime soon, he had no friends nor close family, and certainly did not have kids all he did was mind his job at the mall where he worked as the manager, and on the night of November 6th 1997 he headed home as usual from the mall having closed for the night he turned through the intersection on Bakers Street and headed down Pivot Drive, the night air was quite cool and hazy, he walked briskly because he didn't want to be late for his Saturday night Show on MTV, having exited Pivot Drive, he was staring at Shady Hills Street up ahead demarcated by the woods, he wished he had taken a cab as he started to hike down, he had excellent strength for a man his age.

Halfway through the woods that demarcated Shady Hills and Pivot Drive, he heard a strange noise, breathing really hard from his hike, he paused to catch his breath and sat on a fallen log of wood, that was when he saw the thing....

It had no form, at least not from what his eyes were seeing it was covered with hair, thick black hair.. Samuel stared at it as if in a trance and wondered if it was real, he stood up and walked to the thing looking at it curiously, it had no face, no notable body parts yet it looked like it had the shape of a human, as he was still standing over the thing which was not human, he bent down and touched its fur, and immediately his fingers burned and developed blisters which seemed like hair pores, he retracted away from it and ran as fast as he could...

Comments will be well appreciated... as regards writing the Horror genre has been greatly undermined... #Chapter 2

One week had passed since he saw the thing in the woods, the thing which lay there in the dark covered with hair-like fur, the thing.........

Samuel Shaw jerked awake from his brief sleep in the office, he hadn't even realized that he was dozing off he checked his watch, the time was 8:45pm, he started balancing off the accounts for the day, having completed his duty for the night he doffed on his hat and glanced at the small mirror in his office, and noticed something rather odd, his hand was covered with hair, it was not to strange since he was a rather hairy man, but there was something odd about the way his hands felt, it was if the hair was growing rapidly, he dismissed such a thought as impossible, grinned at himself and left the office...

On getting home, he decided to take a shower, but thought better to shave first, he shaved his body completely, took his bath, watched the evening show and went to bed...

The next morning he was once again up as early as 6:09 am, he quickly brushed his teeth and ate a cold cereal then decided to check his face on the mirror before taking his bath, as he approached the mirror, he almost screamed but the sound came out all muffled up, it didn't look like he had shaved at all his face was covered with a thick black beard, and so was his entire body which he had carefully shaved the previous night, he however convinced himself that he probably dreamt that he had shaved, shaved again and went to work....

#Chapter 3 (Finale)

If you asked after Samuel Shaw from anyone living on Shady Hills they'll gape at you in surprise, everyone knew Mr Samuel kept no friends and had no family, which made it really hard to find him to be missed even when he hadn't come out of his ramshackle bungalow in weeks....

Sitting alone in the basement of the house, the thing which was once Samuel Shaw whimpered in despair, the thing was utterly and completely covered with hair, it had no hands or legs and certainly no face, the thing whimpered loudly but could not be heard from the secure basement, the thing crawled slowly and managed to whisper to itself "Please God, Please, let me get it right, just this once" and it proceeded to allow itself get impaled by a sharp rake on the basement floor, black blood flowed from its wounds, and as the life ebbed away, the thing that was once Samuel Shaw died...

A Missing Person's report was filed by Danny Wilson, the Town's Selectman and Samuel Shaw was declared missing, But like every other small town, sometimes people just move on...
