Vacancy for Content Writer

Nitestay.com is Nigeria’s premier online hotel reservation portal. The company specializes in hotel reservation, resort booking, concert and events booking along with travel guide information around Nigeria. In order to continue to provide excellent service to its growing clientele base, the company requires the service of a Content Writer.

Position Summary

Responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading copy from conception to completion, and providing highly-accurate and quality work by the required deadline. This role reduces our dependency on external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Blogging; Develop quality content for blog; Manage freelance writers/contributors; Content distribution/Guest blogging; Maximise user attraction via the blog & guest blogging
Manage email marketing; newsletters, email campaigns
Play key role in exploring PR and branding opportunities for the company

Requirements

An excellent command of written and spoken English, and literary devices
An ability to consistently write in clear, unambiguous and very simple English
Research ideas and facts relevant to the type of content assigned
Experience writing for reputable online publications or blogging is required
Knowledge and awareness of public relation strategies and practice is an advantage
