The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police Asuquo today paraded 36 males and 30 females between the ages of 14 to 17 years at the state command for being in possession of illegal substances suspected to be Indian hemp. He stated that the Command wouldn't press any charges against them but said they will be counselled and handed over back to their parents. The Commissioner of Police lamented that there were firearms in the possession of some of individuals, he said that the command also rescued a 3-year-old girl Samantha Pepple who was kidnapped from Port Harcourt and brought to Southern Ijaw in Bayelsa state. The culprit Godspower Ayakpo male 28 years was arrested with the help of Bayelsa and Rivers state serious crime units.
