The Former Chairman of Cross River State Councilors' Forum Has declared for the Chairmanship Position of Ogoja Local Government Council of Cross River State in the forth-coming Local Government Elections in the State. Hon. Emmanuel Nwop Ishabor who was a Councilor, Leader of Ogoja Legislative Council, and Chairman( LEADER OF LEADERS' ) Cross River State Councilors' Forum between 2010 to 2013 made his intentions known in a message he sent to Party faithfuls, Friends and Supporters.
The Message read thus: " [Having sought the face of God and after due consultations within and outside Ogoja, I Hon Emmanuel Nwop Ishabor humbly present myself to serve the good people of Ogoja in the capacity of the Chairman of Council]"

Hon. Emmanuel Ishabor was the National Vice President, Nigeria Councilors' Forum. He was appointed the Supervisor for works and Housing in Ogoja Local Council from 2014 to 2016. He is presently the Special Assistant to the Cross River State Governor.
