my honda 98 model vibrates at both high&low speeds,for close to a year now.i have done balancing,alignment,but to no avail!but the car is smooth&fuel consumption excellent.i am thinkin of sellin it and go for a camry 2000 model just because of that problem.nairalanders help PLS!

From what you have described above, you do not have any problems with the engine; The next thing I would like to ask you is the vehicle's history - Its important;

1. When did you buy the vehicle?
2. Did you buy it tokumbo or used?

This will go very far in helping.

With what onwan requested,

please state if,

1.U ever had an accident or impact on the car and what point was the impact?.

2which part of the car vibrates or is it a total vibration?.

bought it july 09,never had any accidents with it, d steering wheel only vibrates!

One would have recommended wheel balancing and alignment, but since you said you had done those, then this should help;

1. Go have them check your steering rack and dampers - most likely need changing.
2. Check your front brake discs; I once had that with my 4Runner.

Let us know how this works out.

Check it by puttind your car in drive, step on brake then press accelerator gently at same time.You'll see your engine twist from the torque.

Your CV booth should be torn too, so it will be a good to change both engine mount, and your transmission mount .
