Football is the most watched sport in the world, with millions of fans staying glued to their Television sets, phones or laptops streaming to watch their favourite teams or the biggest games in the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions league.

The difference between watching a match live in a stadium or on TV will forever be a bone of contention for football lovers. Those who have been fortunate to watch a live game say it’s an unbelievable experience they will forever cherish due to the numerous advantages it proposes, some of which include;

Opportunity to see the Stadium and take a tour
You get to see the managers and players live and even take pictures of them or even get autographs of your favourite player.
You also get to interact with fans from different parts of the world.

Signal Iduna Park

The Signal Iduna Park is the Stadium of German Club side Borussia Dortmund.

The pre-match atmosphere is usually electrifying, with fan chants and the taunts at rival clubs. The fans also help to give a massive boost to the team by giving them the 12th man advantage.

There is also a Manchester United megastore outside the stadium which is a must visit if you want to buy a souvenir.

Ticket for a game costs between £30-£52.

Nou Camp

The Nou camp or Camp Nou as is famously called is the home stadium of Spanish giants Barcelona.

Capacity: 99,354

The Nou Camp is the largest stadium in Spain by capacity and also the largest stadium in Europe.

At the Nou Camp you get to watch the most technically gifted players in the world such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Iniesta just to name a few. The football played is also breathtaking and you are guaranteed to see lots of goals.

You can also take a tour of the stadium and visit many spaces, such as the Treble space, FCB museum, Messi’s space, player’s tunnel, visitor’s room amongst others.

Maracana Stadium

The Maracana Stadium also known is Brazil as the Estadio Journalista Mario Filho is home stadium of the Brazilian National team. It is one of the most historical stadiums in the world of football because it once had the record attendance for a football game in 1950 with a total of 199,850 fans watching Uruguay vs. Brazil in 1950. Brazil is the home of football, which is why this stadium is a must visit.

Opened: June 16, 1950

Akwa Ibom Stadium

The Akwa Ibom International Stadium is an all-seater national sports stadium located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.

Capacity: 30,000

Opened: 7 November 2014

The Akwa Ibom Stadium is arguably the most beautiful and aesthetically built stadium in Nigeria. It was modeled after the Allianz Arena Stadium in Germany. You can get to watch the Super Eagles matches if they are scheduled to play there or Akwa United for their Nigerian Professional League (NPFL) games.

Some of the facilities in the stadium include; Bullet Proof VVIP/VIP areas, Box Office, 30 emergency exit points, and an Ambulance bay.
