A big Chieftain of APGA and former SA to Governor Willie Obiano, Chief Paully Onyeka officially declares for APC with over 1200 APGA supporters at APC official flag off at St Matthew Catholic Church,Ozubulu.

Chief Onyeka lamanted that the Government of Chief Obiano had been hijacked by 4 Cabals who never meant well for the state. He said as a Local Government,Ekwusigo is entitled to have a Commissioner in the State Executive,which this Government did not give to his people. And there is nothing this Government has done for his people despite all his effort to get their attention. No road excuted in Ekwusigo in the last 3 years. He lamanted that in the whole of Ekwusigo,there is no project done for them. Even the community project was hijacked by some cabals and projects not executed.

Hence, he has no other alternative than to resign from the government and party. He said he decided to join APC because of the credibility and integrity of Dr Tony Nwoye. He told the people of Ekwusigo and his fellow decampees that Dr Tony Nwoye will listen to their cry because he has a listening ear and will properly address all the wrongs done to them.
In his remark, Dr Tony Nwoye promised the people of Ekwusigo that each of the community must get at least 2 roads construction, a healthcare centre and he MUST give Ekwusigo a Commissioner if elected as Governor.
Also in the rally, Mega Progressive Peoples Party (MPPP), Ekwusigo Chapter led by Evang. Samuel Emechukwu officially adooted Dr Tony Nwoye as their Candidate for November 18th Governorship election.
