Enugu State Government Approves Half Day Work On Friday by nghubs1(m): 10:31pm On Nov 02, 2017
Ahead of the Local Government elections, the Enugu state government has approved a half day work for public servants on Friday 3rd November.

According to a statement released by Secretary to the State Government G. O. C. Ajah, and made available to NGHUBS, the half day work is to enable workers travel to where they are registered for election.

He added that all financial institutions, federal establishments and private sector organizations are not affected by this directive.

Public Service Announcement

Enugu State Government has approved that all Public and Civil Servants in the State should observe half-day work on Friday, 3rd November, 2017 due to the Local Government Elections in the State coming up on Saturday, 4th November, 2017.

This is to enable all Public/Civil Servants and Teachers in the State to travel to where they registered for the elections.

All financial institutions, federal establishments and private sector organizations are not affected by this directive.

There will be restrictions of movements on the election day being Saturday, 4th November, 2017 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, in accordance with the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) regulations, except for those on election duties and essential services.
