The University of Nigeria, Nsukka has been wildly criticised by parents especially civil servants for their outrageous total fees as it is estimated at 200,000 naira.

This sudden increase which started 2 years ago has sparked questions from the masses on the essence of schooling in a Government university when some private institutions collect almost the same amount.

Details of the fees are given below:

Acceptance fees 25,000 naira

School fees 64,700-71,200 depends on dept

Accommodation fees 12,000-20,000 depends on the type

Laptop fee (compulsory fee) 90,000 naira
