Workers are yet to be paid 10months salary arrears while pensioners are owed 3yrs arrears in Imo state even when the roads are very bad.

Rochas is extremely stupid. Why waste the State allocation on nonsense? The State is now replete with unnecessary statues, anywhere you turn, you see them.

All I'm seeing here is noise borne out of emotion and anger based on delibrate ignorance and calculated smear campaign. For starters, I'm both indigenous and resident of Imo state. I supported PDP during the last gubernatorial election and fervently campaigned against Rochas. I'm not a fan of Rochas but I love Imo state and wants the best for it. All those condemning Rochas for erecting statues of VIP's in Owerri are not seeing the bigger picture, do you know the benefits that could accrue to Owerri for being put on the spotlight? Do you know that Owerri is fast emerging as a prime tourist destination in Nigeria? Do you know that statues add artistic aura and gives identity to a city especially one that aspires to be a tourism hub? How much does a statue cost? Do you realise that the status of Owerri has remained on the upsurge in attracting investors in real estate and hotels? Everything should not be politicized, I live in Owerri & I personally believe that Rochas has done a lot to enhance Owerri.

I don't think you are in Owerri...all the people that say Rochas is bad are just expressing their grief on what losses they've incured in okorocha's massive urban renewal projects. It is normal but what is abnormal there is their malicious accusations against okorocha. For sure for good things to come to anywhr their must be sacrifices. Go and ask el Rufai and Abuja people.
