On February 28, 2007, redesigned versions of Nigeria’s lower denomination currencies––the N5, N10, N20 and N50 notes––will be launched by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). yippe,  I have been longing to see 50kobo! On a serious note, i think it is a good strategy, however they might have gone too far. They should not have introduced the N1,000 in the first place!. I think this is aimed at curbing inflation, im not so good with economics , any economists in the house?? |

I think it is a good thing to have the coins back and if God blesses Nigeria we will get to use them again |

I think this is aimed at curbing inflation, im not so good with economics , any economists in the house??THis has nothing to do with inflation. It's about reducing the production cost of the lower denominations. |
