If Nigerians must live in peace people like Evans should be kept in Kirikiri forever because releasing such a man is a threat to the society ..he has been keeping people in his private guarded prison,God exposed him because he is tired of his wickedness

Why was El Zakzaky
, Nnamdi Kanu, and Boko Haram terrorists permanently detained and this guy is not? This clearly shows something is wrong with our nation. Is this guy not worst than a terrorist? VP Osinbajo is a lawyer but the way cases are handled in Nigeria shows we might need to hand over our judicial system to Indonesia or maybe China. Can you imagine that this guy even dresses better than the lawyers and judges in court?
those mentioned's case are handled by federal Govt while Evans' case is handle in Lagos state

To the best of my knowledge I think these appeals are being done to delay the process. Evans is simply buying time.

Why? I don't know.

Somebody that should have been hanged by his balls, a long time ago!

Is really annoying that such a wicked animal is allowed to waste tax-payers money on a meaningless abuse of the court process, a benefit he did not afford his kidnapped victims!

This is why l hate democracy or rule of law at times, can he do this when Buahri was a military Head of State and he wont be tied to a Barrel at Bar Beach and used for shoooting practice?

And wicked lawyers too want to get part of the blood-money by encouraging him to go on a meaningless Judicial challenge.
All of una, both Evans and his Lawyers. have blood on your hands. Una deserve to be shot together

The NBA needs to be proactive and up their game against some of its members who because of money always play hide and seek game all for the purpose of delaying justice. I am not satisfied with just throwing away such fictitious applications. Such lawyers should be sanctioned to prevent future occurence.

I agree with you 101%.
These Lawyers have no moral fibre, all they just want is to get as much of that kidnap money from Evans, as possible.
They know where and what will end his case but they want to prolong it so as to share in the blood money.

Infact, as happend in the James Ibori case in the U.K, the Lawyers should be sent to Prison as "an accessory", as well.

For the second time in a week, 'billionaire kidnapper', Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans has lost an appeal to quash charges preferred against him and others suspects.

Evans lost again on Friday at the Lagos High Court in Igbosere.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo threw out two applications filed by Evans to stop his trial.

The judge said the applications lacked merit.

These charges that the defence counsel wanted quashed are separate from the ones the Ikeja division of the Lagos High court throw out days ago.

After the judge's decision, charges were read and Evans again pleaded not guilty.

On November 3, Justice Hakeem Oshodi, at the court in Ikeja threw out an application to quash the trial, insisting that Evans should face trial over charges preferred against him by the Lagos State government.

The 'billionaire kidnapper' is facing charges of conspiracy and kidnap of one Duna Donatus at the Ikeja court.

Ruling on an application brought by Evans to quash the two count charges, Justice Oshodi, said a prima facie case had been established against him.

Justice Oshodi ruled that there was no merit in Evans's application and ruled it out.

Evans will walk free one day.
Re: Evans Suffers Another Defeat In Court by totorimi: 4:26pm On Nov 10, 2017
All these things point to one fact, the same people who freed him the last time he was caught are at it again.

This is the reason the people have resorted to jungle justice to get it done one and for all. It's obvious this man will only be given some jail terms bet it.

Who said he's not been detained?

I saw him this morning when he was been transported from Kirikiri under heavy security through Navy Town.
