car WARMING UP i assume you mean the temp guage going from C to around almost half mark, Why do you think the radiator fans don't start immediately you start a car in the morning? So as to allow the car WARM UP to operating temperature faster, the fan starts later on after the temperature has been attained.
you don't get it. It should be accordingly not earlier or too late. That is why thermostat is attached to regulate and keep the engine in optimal temperature.

Its not suppose to get hot quickly or remain cold for long, non of the the two conditions favours the engine

Morning house! I'll like to ask this question: Which one favours a car engine performance (in terms of fuel consumption and longevity), TEMPERATURE @ Alomst mid-mark OR TEMPERATURE @ Very low mark
