the navy allows some select officers to grow Neat beards because of quite a number of reasons... But one is... If you have a rough chin or a bumps on your chin from clipper infections and all, they allow u cover it with beards... The army doesnt doe... Only intelligent officers in the army are allowed to.

What are their ranks? I hope senior officers will leave her for him.

The guy is a rating
A combatant
Not an officer
His rank is a leading
So senior officers won't back off unless she holds herself

Naval officers or air-force can also be called soldiers, so technically they're both soldiers.

We are not talking about specifics, in this context, let's assume they are officers.
Blocked head they are not officers, it's a rating and a soldier. Get good quality education

He can but just within the non commissioned officer bracket. Chances of him becoming an officer are very slim 10% outa 100. He is a Leading rating, can be promoted to petty officer, then chief petty officer, his end point is warrant petty officer. Ratings are recruited after SSCE or NCE, while officers are recruited after University or Graduates of NDA. Non commissioned officers are not called officers, u can be locked up for calling them officers. They are called RATINGS in the Navy . A rating starting point is Trainee, an officer's starting point is Mid-Shipman
