In a major policy reversal, the Nigerian military is set to end the admission of female cadets into the combatant course of the Nigerian Defence Academy, The PUNCH has learnt.

A set of 20 females, nicknamed Jonathan Queens, were first admitted into the course in Nigeria’s premier military officer training institution during the former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration in 2011.

It was learnt that the recommendation to end the programme was made by the Armed Forces Council which was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari last week.

Bras, what cave do you come from? You seem to have no idea who/what cadets are no wonder you are calling 'pregnancy' ... Are you actually imagining that women should leave the military completely cuz they 'get pregnant n frail?' please help your self and come out of such cave mentality. Mind you there are women in the army in countries like Nigeria and America that are married with kids but that doesn't make then to slack in their duties. All girls were not banned from enrolling in the army, they were only proscribed from the combatant training.. Get that stuck in your head.
Should u know, it has always been like that till GEJ temporarily lifted the ban; it only went back to status quo; u dilletant should have a little knowledge of something before venturing to talk about it. Not making noise when u know absolutely nothing.
