Engines were rumbling and tires screeching out of Dallah Parking lot from 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 10th 2017. It was the Red Bull car park drift qualifier which is held yearly in Qatar.

The weekend we’ve all been waiting for was finally here and it’s bound for some epic tyre-spinning action. So there’s no better time to get you all setup and up-to-date with the one of the most anticipated motorsports events of the year.

Red Bull Car Park Drift was held under the support and supervision of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), and in partnership with Vodafone Qatar, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Co. – Nissan, Losail Circuit Sports Club, TOTAL, Falken Tires, and Shop and Ship.

The selected site gives Red Bull Car Park Drift a raw and natural feeling, unlike the standard drift courses we’ve come to expect. Also being able to represent your country as the King of Drift is a special opportunity.

Red Bull Car Park Drift’s sports director is the one and only Abdo Feghali. The legendary master of drift will be overseeing the event, that’s after he gives the crowd a much-anticipated flurry of smoke of course.

Residents of Qatar turned out to cheer and enjoy the event which was thrilling.
