The family of Ohanaga of Umuokoro umukwu onicha, in Ezinihitte mbaise, Imo State have been thrown into mourning following the tragic death of a man, his wife and their third son, Ndubuisi.

The couple and their son died on the night of October 20th and 21st morning, respectively, after eating popular local delicacy ugba ( oil bean).

It was gathered that the wife bought the ugba, prepared it and after eating, they all started having stomach upset.

The couple were rushed to the hospital but the woman died on the way. The man and son died hours later. A friend of Ndubuisi, who also partook in the meal was said to be fighting for his life.

They will be laid to rest on Friday, November 17, at the Ohanaga's compound in Ezinihitte Mbaise.
