Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerian President has approved on Monday the immediate release of N20 billion so that the Academic Staff of Universities (ASSU) can revitalize public universities.
"President Muhammadu Buhari, in his determination to revitalize public universities and ensure the smooth running of the tertiary education system, has approved the sum of N20 billion for immediate release for public universities through the revitalization program," tweeted the Treasury.

Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed announced this, along with the President's approval, for the "immediate release" of NZ $ 22.68 billion as part of the retirement benefits of former Nigeria Airways Limited workers (in liquidation).

Ahmed recalled the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the federal government and ASUU in 2013 on the need to improve funding for staff welfare and provision of critical infrastructure.

Despite certain challenges, including the shortage of revenue and other reasons, which affected the implementation of the bilateral agreement, Ahmed said the president was determined to revitalise public universities and ensure their smooth running.

Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has been called upon to further increase the misery of the Ondo people through the unprecedented increase in tuition fees of the state's tertiary institutions.

One group, known as the Sunshine Liberation Front, SLF, which gave the admonition in a statement on Tuesday in Akure, the state capital and provided DAILY POST, asserted that Akeredolu's policies have been governing since 2017 when he took office as governor was anti-mass-oriented.

The statement by the media and public relations officer Oluwagbenga Ajongbolo
against the recent increase in tuition fees of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, UNIMED, by the governor with an appeal to him to reverse the hike.

"Since its inception, the current ondo government under the leadership of Arakunrin 'Rotimi Akeredolu has done more damage and caused further damage to the already destabilized Pyschean of citizens of the Solar State.

"It has further destroyed the educational foundations that have laid its ancestors, demoted the legacy, and seems determined to overthrow our dear state into more educational mishaps.

"Arakunrin Akeredolu and his cronies have found another way to blackmail Ondo State students in particular and Nigerian students in general with this newest way to generate more internally generated income." A student who pays just over N200,000 may not Return to school if he does not have N450,000. "

Hey guys Pls I need your help on what I'm about to ask. Scored an average of 60.25 and after failing to meet the perequisite of the course I applied for initially (mechanical engineering), I hastily opted for a different course (mechatronics) with a cut off set at 60 when the supplementary form became available. What are my chances of being admitted now as contemporarily, I feel I may have made a mistake with hundreds if not thousands vying for the same course. BTW na FUTO dey give me all dis worry so

The aim of the evaluation essay is to show that some product, service, or business is of good quality or vice versa. You need to provide your opinion as well, but it should not be the main focus of the paper. Therefore, an evaluation essay should be totally objective and unbiased, otherwise it will not serve its purpose. Learn How to Write Evaluation Essay - it is the one of the keys to successful writing.
