Police officers at the Gwarinpa division have arrested two suspects for allegedly stealing three water heaters and two toilet seats from a building in Works and Housing Estate. A source at the division said the suspects were arrested after a distress call was placed to the division by an anonymous resident at about 6:00a.m. on Tuesday. The source said the suspects had already burgled the building but were arrested before they could leave the estate due to the prompt intervention of the police officers. Reacting, the Gwarinpa Divisional Police Officer, CSP Nuruddeen Sabo, said the two suspects were in police custody. “Two hoodlums named Jordan Ibrahim and Fidelis both of Gombe State burgled the house of one Adekanye and carted away three water heaters and two toilet seats valued at N215, 000,” he said. He said the items were recovered from the suspects adding that they would be prosecuted. Source: https://dailytrust.com.ng/ |
