They dated for 2 years and then he was transfered to another city for work. Everything was alright while they were dating and he was even comtemplatiing proposing. When he came to visit her during christmas period, he discovered that the whole house was trashed, she was smelling looked like a homeless person, who hadn't showered in months.
She claims, she is suffering from depression and doesn't have the energy of showering, taking her bath or even going to work

What he doesn't understand is why she claims she doesn't have the energy to go to work, bath or brush her teeth and yet she always has energy and appetite to eat, go to the market to buy food, and use the toilet.

Is she telling the truth or just plain lazy?

This is a serious case. She is actually suffering from depression. The would be hubby should take her to a good psychiatrist. Op if you know that man tell him that his gf has severe depression and medical help should be sorted.

When someone is depressed, the person feels hopeless and feels like he/she is just existing not living. She could be really depressed. You should help her if you can.

who told you that depression makes you loose appetite? Nonsense. If you work in a psychiatric ward or you've suffered depression, you won't be talking like this. That lady is depressed. Of course she would eat but it doesn't change the fact that she is depressed. If you check the diet of depressed individuals, it's usually snacks, sweets and tasty food. They are like to binge eat a lot. It's all related to the malfunction of their reward system.

Spiritual attack? That will go hand in hand. It is the cause.

Its definitely a demon that has joined itself to her spirit with intent to stall her, regress and torment her. Its causing her to get regressed by creating the feeling of laziness and removing the desire to work.

Its probably a recent possession which is why she is feeling so deeply depressed. I pray that God may remember her and free her, and that His Angels shall have no mercy on that demons when her time of deliverance and of vengeance comes.

Depression Medicine will only create a lifetime of dependency without solving the problem.

The truth is that demons are responsible for depression, they will flood your mind with all sort of garbage making you see no hope in life.

I would rather say it is an oppression.
This can be physical , psychological ,financial , marital and most importantly spiritual.

Someone under oppression might be completely unaware of his or her state . The Bible says in :

Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; ........
