The Federal Government has proposed to spend N7.26 billion on the Presidential Air Fleet, PAF, in the 2018 budget proposal, details by the Budget Office of the Federation have shown. Of the amount, about N4.3 billion was proposed for recurrent expenditure, while N2.8 billion would go for capital expenditure. Empathy is what Nigeria needs... we are too greedy to think of the next person. In a country we have about 30m unemployed youth, 30m or more pensioners, 30 - 40 million children, 25m adolecents (unable to work), 20m underemployed.... You are left with little or about 30m gainfully employed to cater for the excess 160m and yet we apportion N7.26 billion to maintain a private jet, while we just saw school pupils(leaders of tomorrow) eating half pack of small noodle and 1/4 boiled egg in unhygenic trashbag nylons.. meanwhile N2.3b was budgeted for it.. How do you sleep as leaders or fly in a N7.26b maintained private jet knowing the next person is on the verge of death due to your greed. 2 Likes |

in 2015, N5b was spent to adequately take care of 10 PAF planes... in 2018, over N7b is to be spent to take care of 7 PAF planes... official robbery... |

spending N7b on the PAF is not too much, but you cannot condemn someone for spending less than N5b on 10 aircrafts & expect praise when you spend over N7b for less than 7 aircraft... it is the hypocrisy that stinks... |

Buhari increased Nigeria's debt by 70%, budgetted ₦3 billion for a clinic without paracetamol and syringe and is preparing to spend ₦7 billion on presidential aircraft. Anybody still supporting this criminals government of Buhari and APC is a souless beast. |
